7 dominated the first week at the box office national and international pushing past +$800 million.  This film had much more to give then another racing movie, it also was a tribute to the late Paul Walker, who tragically lost his life off set in a car accident.  As “Family would do, the film makers pulled together the cast and crew and finished the film in Paul’s honor and made this one of the franchise’s highest grossing films.

This is the movie that pulls everything together, in the last few films certain events have been taking place. It started in Toyko Drift (#3) where near the end a team member gets taken out by a mystery driver. In the last film, the Team hunts down a ghost and in the process takes down one of the world fastest criminals named Owen Shaw. Big mistake, now Shaw’s older brother is hunting the team down one by one, starting with Han in Tokyo Drift which brings the story full circle. Now Toretto (Vin Diesel) must protect his family and stop an international bad ass in search of some high level intel before everyone is a target.

So the movie brings the team all around the world for the seventh installment, Dubai, London, Tokyo, Los Angeles and more. Let’s talk about some of the cars that appear in the film. Let start with the obvious, a bunch of Dodge Chargers and Challengers, 1972 Plymouth Barracuda, 1969 Ford Torino Talladega,  1967 Chevrolet Camaro and of course the Nissian Skyline and GT R.  Now the Super Cars made a few appearances, Maserati Ghible, McLaren MP4 12C, Ferrari 458 Italia, Bugatti Veyron, Audi R8 and the Ashton Martin DB9. The Winner was the 2013 W Motors Lykan Hypersport.
