This years Essence Music Festival brought out almost a half a million people from all over the States to celebrate the best in Music with performances by Jill Scott, Charlie Wilson, Usher, Mary J. Blidge, Miguel, Jennifer Hudson, Kayne West and more. During the Festival TBS & TNT brought a host of celebs to day one of the Festival at their “TBS & TNT All Access Experience Booth” on Friday in New Orlenas. Stars from “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” (Lance Gross, Keshia Knight Pulliam, & Demetria McKinney), “Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns” (Lamman Rucker, David & Tamela Mann), “Franklin & Bash” (Garcelle Beauvais), “Are We There Yet?” (Terry Crews & Essence Atkins), and “Leverage” (Aldis Hodge) greeted fans and signed autographs at the Morial Convention Center.

The next day began with a booth appearance and V.I.P. Screening with Southland’s Regina King, hosted by comedian George Wilborn at Harrah’s Casino Theater. Additional screenings with the casts of House of Payne (Keshia Knight Pulliam & Demetria McKinney), Meet the Browns (David & Tamela Mann) and Memphis Beat (DJ Qualls, Keb’ Mo’ & Leonard Earl Howze) took place throughout the day, which ended on a high note with the “Rock the Block” Day Party at the New Orleans Board of Trade. DJ Biz Markie kept the party moving, while V-103 Atlanta radio personalities Ryan Cameron and Elle Duncan interviewed Lloyd and other Celebs.
