WithCeeLo Green being such a vivid musical artist, we weren’t shock to here his reason of saying NO to Simon Cowell’s new talent show titled, “X-Factor”.  If a judge, CeeLo would have took a seat next to L.A. Reid, former executive of CeeLo’s old group Goodie Mob. Green’s latest hot single says it all, “Forget You”, the idea, why stir up old relationships and business, when you can be part of a fresh new concept?

The 36-year-old soul singer decided to sign on to a new show, “The Voice”.CeeLo will be 1 of 4 judges on the show,  Christina Aguilera, country star Blake Shelton, and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine will also be joining the judges table.

“I knew the name and I knew the parties involved,” Green said of “X Factor” “But as an enterprise, I didn’t see what made it distinctive enough. It kind of seemed like shows like ‘Idol’ had run their course. And I liked this one better,” Green said of “The Voice”.

This new show steps away from other talent shows in a few ways. One, the judges don’t see the contestant, they just listen to the voice. Two, in later rounds the final contestants pick and work with a judge to increase their talents. An the final things that separates this show, “The show would feature none of the hopeless wannabes seen on other talent shows”, says executive producer of “The Voice” Mark Burnett.
