Lance Gross ( Tyler Perry’s House of Payne) and spokesmodel Toccara Jones (Essence Magazine’s Contributing Style Editor) co-hosted the African Pride Hair Care “My Pride. My Way” event at the King Plow Art Center in Atlanta.  Celebrating Natural Hair the evening was filled with complimentary beauty and grooming services, free product swag bags, demonstrations, conversations in hair, celebrity hair stylists,  makeup artists and more while promoting hairstyle creativity and expression. Beauty Recycled was on site to collecting beauty product packaging that can be recycled from those who attended(www.beautyrecycled.com).

“Our company recognizes that today’s women are not monotonous when it comes to their hair styles and texture choices. Each individual choice should be equally celebrated with the final goal being healthy tresses and follicle protection, which is the continuous goal of our product lines,” says Charlene Bastien.

The night was just about hair products, radio personality Ebony Steele hosted a panel discussion with local Hair Specialists. And then the finale was an intimate mini concert by So So Def recording artist Dondria. The house was packed, full of Atlanta socialites, Industry regulars and fashion designers Michael Knight and Raphael Cox.
