MetroPCS Communications Inc. along with Samsung and V-103 welcomed the 4G LTE last evening at Mason Murer, with a special performance by Atlanta’s own Keri Hilson. The event was set to introduce the new network and the Samsung Craft 4G LTE handset from MetroPCS who became the first mobile operator to launch commercial 4G LTE service in the US. Keri Hilson headlined the event and other appearances by V-103’s Rashan Ali & Osei, Greg Street, Heather Smith (Director MetroPCS), Jeff Medynger (Director MetroPCS), Rick Caffey & Jacqui Caffey (General Manager V103), Diondra Sanders (daughter to Deon Sanders), Q Parker (112), Yamma Brown (daughter of James Brown).

The device offers:

  • Incredible clarity and rich color for viewing crystal-clear multimedia and video images with its 3.3 inch AMOLED (Active-matrix organic light-emitting diode) screen.
  • A 2GB microSD card preloaded with Paramount Pictures’ hit movie “Star Trek.”
  • A combination touch screen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard and Samsung’s TouchWiz™ user interface to surf and text message with whichever input format users prefer.
  • A 3.2MP camera with flash and camcorder to capture images that can be shared while on the go on MetroPCS’ fast 4G network.
  • Wi-Fi capability.
