The most wanted pitcher in the American League , Rafael Soriano, was on the market until yesterday. The 31 year old Dominican, ex-Atlanta Brave & ex- Tampa Bay Ray, announced to reporters that he would be heading to the Bronx to assist Mariano Rivera and the New York Yankeeswinning a new World Series. What makes this story crazy is that Soriano signed a 3 year $35 million contract (Avg. $11.6 a year), where the other relief pitchers that signed to the Yankees this year only received an average of $1.7 million a year. That’s a huge difference! Could this be the Yankees next Biggest Star?
