With all these hospital shows such as, Gray’s Anatomy, Nip Tuck and Hawthorne you had to know that movies were next. On the palette for 2011 is ‘The Heart Specialist’. This new film was released the first of the year,it’s called a new style comedy, a blend of comedy and melodrama, directed and produced by a former Doctor, Dennis Cooper. The movie stars Wood Harris (Paid in Full), Zoe Saldana (Avatar) and Brian White(Stomp the Yard). But with suprise the movie has a long list of supporting cast such as, Method Man, Mya, Leon, Jasmine Guy, Jennifer Lewis, comedian Nephew Tommyand BET’s Terrence J. The movie is about the Head Resident Doctor wanting to express his feelings on the healing power of laughter and write a book about it, added with a few love quarrels at the work place, this should be interesting.
