One way to get people to stop and get involved is to put Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen in the mix. Pushing for environmental awareness, Gisele was approach to make a cartoon originally scheduled to only be released in Brazil, but by teaming up with AOL.com they were able to launch a new Internet based animated series called “Gisele & The Green Team“. It kinda reminds us of the old school cartoon Captain Planet, which a group of youngsters battle evil to clean up the planet. For the past 5 years she has donated proceeds from her flip-flop collection to numerous environmental foundations and causes, so this must be the next step towards teaching our youth about Going Green.
